(KOIN) — A Salem-Keizer Public Schools teacher was placed on administrative leave Monday after a lawsuit alleges he sexually abused two of his former students. The two unidentified students filed the $10 million lawsuit on Wednesday against Josh Rist, 35, and the district, accusing Rist of 'grooming' and 'sexual abuse' between 2015 and 2020 when he worked as a music and choir teacher at McNary High School.
