Salem-Keizer Public Schools Superintendent Christy Perry plans to retire after the 2022-23 school year.Perry, 56, announced her upcoming plans at the end of the Salem-Keizer school board work session Tuesday evening, followed by an email sent to district staff.Perry effectively retired in January 2020 and was rehired within hours to take advantage of Oregon's Public Employees Retirement System's benefits incentive, giving her theopportunity to work a longer government career while drawing a pension at the same time.
